THE MOUSE is a unique picture book for children from 0 - 100 years old and is the first prolibiris publication intended for an international audience. Originally it was a witty poem written by a Polish poet in English and is in the tradition of ancient fairy tales by Aesop and is influenced by the limericks of Edward Lear. The project originated with the idea of giving young students and artists at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw an international ambition. The Polish poet †Marcin Brykczynski offered us a short poem and we invited Marie VeselŠ from †the Czech Republic to †illustrate it.
