Interest in UV disinfection has increased significantly in recent years, due its ability to inactivate Cryptosporidium parvum. Although UV disinfection shows significant promise for inactivation of Cryptosporidium, very few investigations have examined the impact of UV disinfection on biological stability in distribution systems.
