Das heißt es werden die Betrachtungen von Jacob Grimm, dem Begründer der historischen Schule, und von Karl Weinhold, dem konsequentesten Vertreter dieser Schule dargestellt und ihre Überlegungen über Schriftart, Silbentrennung, Schreibung der Eigennamen und Fremdwörter, Groß- und Kleinschreibung der Substantive, Zeichensetzung sowie über die Schreibung der Vokale und Konsonanten erläutert. Am Rande der unterschiedlichen literarischen Strömungen in der deutschsprachigen Literatur der 60er und 70er Jahre hat der Bereich der religiösen Literatur seine Bedeutung behauptet. Im Zeichen des "Neuen Irrationalismus" der 80er Jahre traten zudem wieder unterschiedliche Formen religiöser Literatur in das Zentrum des Interesses. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung werden Schreibweisen der religiösen Literatur anhand von Beispielen aus traditionellen Genres religiöser Darstellungen - Autobiographie, Tagebuch, historischer Roman und Kurzgeschichte - untersucht. In Part I, poems deal with Britain, Canada, and China (mainly Hong Kong). In Part II the focus shifts to Australia and then Europe again (mainly France). Part III, entitled "Shards" presents fragmentary lyric voices suggesting the processes of cultural fragmentation and change. In each part the poems connect with individual experience, historical events such as the French, Russian and Chinese revolutions, myth and art.
